During the London 2012 Olympics, Glaziers Hall hosted the prestigious House of Switzerland, giving them exclusive venue hire.
House of Switzerland provides an opportunity to showcase the essence of Switzerland in the hosting country of each olympics.
The Event
For the duration of the Olympics, Glaziers Hall was dedicated to the House of Switzerland. A total of 3,000 m2 of exhibition space allowed a platform for an creative and innovative take on the country, inviting guests to experience different aspects of the culture from sports to local cuisine.
Highlights
Over the 24 days of the event, the House of Switzerland welcomed 255,000 visitors, all of which were invited to visit a games lounge, market stalls, exhibition space and a dedicated apprenticeship day. Guests were also privileged to meet medalists Roger Federer and Nicola Spirig.
