It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Glaziers Hall has been assessed by Green Tourism and we have achieved their Standards for a Gold Award.
Green Tourism is the largest sustainable certification programme of its kind to operate globally, assessing hundreds of fantastic places to stay and visit in Britain every year.
Glaziers Hall has been working hard over the last few years to improve our environmental credentials. Changes we have made include removing all single use plastics, installing a water bottling machine and installing movement sensors to ensure lights and air conditioning aren’t used in empty rooms.
We are tremendously proud of this award, but it doesn’t stop here. Green Tourism has provided us with a range of additional recommendations, to further improve our environmental performance. We are now reviewing those to see how to implement them. After all, now we have our Gold Green Tourism Award, we definitely want to keep it!
